Rian Ingrim served as an Officer in the US Army for 11 years. During his service as a Logistics Officer, he managed multi million-dollar government contracts, was responsible for sourcing crisis intervention emergency supplies and fulfillment on an international level. Rian was also a company commander at JBLM. Throughout his two deployments, Rian developed a deep understanding of diverse foreign cultures with different socio-economic needs across twenty-two different countries. Through this experience Rian was able to navigate global demands during supply shortages all while mitigating geopolitical and cultural tensions.
While stationed in Germany Rian met his wife, Severine. They, along with his stepdaughter Robyn, moved to Washington State and were stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Following the Military, Rian and his wife moved to England to study business at Durham University. After earning his MBA From Durham University Business School (Global top 50 program), he co-founded his own small business.
A career in politics was not Rian’s dream; however, after his service in the military he realized our country needed strong leaders. He has learned first-hand how the Government, at all levels, has been slowly taking away our freedoms. The $30 car tab vote (I-976) that is currently being fought by local government and not properly defended by state government, as well as the carbon tax (I-1631) that was voted down but continued to be pushed by the current state administration was the last straw for him. Rian is tired of seeing the government infringe on our freedoms and thwart the will of the People. In addition, Rian wants to see more veterans represented in Congress.
Education: Psychology / Philosophy – University of Oregon; MBA from Durham University.
